Utahns Enter Anaheim... Not me!!

No I didn't go to Anaheim for UEA. Instead my family and I went camping, like we usually do, to Cherry Creek. Honestly I have no idea why they call it Cherry Creek, there are no cherries down there, just sage brush and desert ugly trees. Although the reservoir is really pretty, at least if you go "river jumping" like my sister and I did. Then it's really pretty. But that's the only spot that's pretty down there, from what I've seen.

I was there from Wednesday, the 13th, to Saturday, the 17th, and had a decent time. It wasn't the greatest because I didn't really care to go in the first place but I still had fun.

Wednesday we departed from home, ate a delicious breakfast at Cracker Barrel, and was on the road to Cherry Creek. When we got settled in our camping post, we searched for wood and had a bonfire while drinking our hot chocolate. After our bedtime, we watched The 'Burbs and fell asleep half way through.

Thursday After breakfast my faja, sister, brother, and I left to go for a nice little ride. But of course my dad's motorcycle decided to not work, so back to camp we rode. While my Fabio and bro was working on the motorcycle, my sister and I got bored and decided to go take a joy ride on the 4-wheeler up to the reservoir and explore. Indeed we did explore. In fact we went river jumping!! Quite fun. It was also a sad day because we forgot our camera's... Since we were there for a long time, we slowly went back to camp and passed my dad on the way back. Since my dad and bro got the motorcycle working again, they went for their joy ride. When my sister and I were just heading out to go run around with Xena, we saw them coming back to camp, freaked out and sprinted into the trees. We swore they were following us and kept sprinting away from them. Turns out they didn't even see us dive into the trees. To wrap the day up, we had another bonfire, more hot chocolate, and finished The 'Burbs.

Friday We almost came home.. but didn't. Yay! To start out the day, we went on a long ride. That was rather entertaining. We visited a few mines that we discovered over Spring Break, and had fun throwing rocks down them again.  We found this mine, it's huge!! Anywho, if you throw a rock down it, you don't hear it hit the bottom for 5 whole seconds!! It's amaXing!! Also the hole in width is pretty big too. It's my favorite mine in the whole wide world. When we got back from that fun ride, my sister and I went back out to the reservoir to go river jumping again. But this time we actually took our camera's! Woot! We were out there forever, it was almost dark when we started to head back and my dad found us halfway back. You know how it gets cold after dark, ya it gets freezing. Imagine yourself in the desert at night freezing... While zooming on a 4-wheeler... With the cold air smacking you.. Ya, cold. And I forgot a jacket. So my sister and I decided to share her jacket. It looked hilarious!! Back to camp, bonfire, hot chocolate, ranch burger, bed.

Saturday We did come home. Not much to say about that day besides it was rather boring. Plus everyone was grumpy. Packed, left, home, shower. I think my favorite thing in the whole world, besides the mine and camera's, is showers. Feels so nice to be clean after 4 days in the desert.

Well there's my UEA break for you!! Hope you enjoyed it. Now go River Jumping!! (:
