Day 1: Probably the most boring day. Yes, I know. Sad! When we got to Cherry Creek we didn't really do anything that day. The funnest part was watching my sisters dog and my grandpa's dog play with each other. Sooooo funny!
Day 2: Pretty fun!! I learned how to ride a motorcycle!!! Ahhh! It's really fun! And it was a lot easier than I thought it would be.. The hardest part about it was start driving it. Like when your stopped then you have to go. I always think I'm giving too much gas before I let go of the clutch but I always give too little and then it dies on me. Yes, I know what you're thinking right now. I bet you crashed! Yes I did... Twice.... It wasn't that bad, nothing broken. On me or the bike. Both of the crashes where when I tried to turn around. Like a U-turn turn. Also we went riding around quite a bit. Went up to a little lake, through some mud, back through the mud, pass the lake again, took off on a trail, went up a lot of hills and rocks, made it to some big rocks and stopped bellow them. They where probably over... 500 ish feet. Probably taller. Well when we got there we ran into another big hill that went in between the big rocks. My dad made it up ok, my brother fell over on the motorcycle, I... didn't go up it. Hehe. After that trail we went to another trail and then my dad fell over on that one and did a back flip! Jk, we call it a back flip, it was just a back roll tumble thing. After a while we headed back to camp and I got to ride the motorcycle back. That's the second time I fell over. I past my turn so I had to turn around. I also took pictures of the stars!! Eeeek! I know, calm down Megan! Sheesh!
Day 3: Eh, it was an ok day. I didn't really drive anything, just rode on the back of the 4-wheeler. We went and visited many mines. Like a lot. One of them we dropped a rock down, well we dropped a rock down all of them, and this hole went straight down forever! I mean it! The rock wouldn't hit the ground for 5 whole seconds! Doesn't seem like that much but when you count it out and just wait, it's a while. And the thud was loud! Also me and my sister went on a walk with her dog, Xena. Funniest dog ever! We would let her get ahead of us and then we would hide behind a tree and she would be looking everywhere for us then she would see us and book it to us. Once we hid behind some sagebrush and she couldn't find us for a long time. Then I think she 'saw' us behind a tree further down and full out ran torwards it and passed us. It took her a second to realize that we were behind the bush and she stopped so fast! I wish I had a picture and video of it. She slid on her butt for a few feet! Really really funny. I also took more pictures of the stars! (:
Day 4: That day pretty much sucked. I think everyone slept on the wrong side of the bed. We went riding again. Not that far though, we just went a little bit and watched a motorcycle race. I'm not sure if it was a race or if it was just a timed run or a practice run. It was kinda fun though. Then on the way back my sister fell over on the bike trying to turn around. Everyone but my mom, grandpa, and grandma fell over. Kinda funny. Then after our little entertainment we went back to camp, packed up, and left for home.
Well there's my adventure over spring break! Hope you enjoyed it and could understand everything I said! So I'll shut up so you can go do more important things than read about my spring break. (;
